I have a variety of images displayed at the San Clemente Art Association Gallery from July 23 - September 1, 2023. Many are printed and treated with a new process I've learned. I printed on thin, 25 gram Japanese Kozo paper and metal leafed the back either silver, copper, or silvergold. Each piece was glued to a hardboard, cold waxed on the front, and dropped in a black laquered floater frame. I signed (en verso) and numbered each. While they are an open edition, they are truly unique in the handwork required to make each piece. Since they are the first group I've made, I'm selling all my metal leaf prints remaining at the Gallery July - August show for a low-price of $175 each. All purchases are made through the gallery. Their sizes vary from 5.25"X5.25", 6.25"X6.25", 5.25"X7.25". They are each truly a treasure!
Also showing is my compilation of whale tales from a sperm whale I photographed last month off Catalina, and a Dolphin Stampede off Newport Harbor, as well as two award-winning shots I took on my recent trip to the Massai Mara in Kenya.
My Monestery Kitchen, taken last Septemer in Ladakh, India won First Place in our photography division of the July 2023 Show.
